Lilo and Stitch. What a great movie. Stitch is a crazy little alien that destroys everything. Eventually he becomes part of Lilo’s family.
I was at a school today with my team. We were all exhausted and still trying to maintain our energy in front of at least 100 kids about 10 or 11 years old. We did games like Ooh Lei Lei and sang songs including “If your happy and you know it” and “Lord I lift your name on high.” By the end we were so tired. I wondered if it had even had an impact to the Kingdom of God.
We are treated like celebrities by these adorable children. After all of this they wanted our signatures on their Jesus books that we gave out. As I was signing one little girl’s book she gave me this present:

A Stitch Pencil.
She blessed me with such a beautiful gift.

Stitch says “Ohana means family. Family means nobody gets left behind. Or forgotten”.
Nobody gets left behind or forgotten. God spoke to me through a pencil given by a little girl. I know God is working in and through my team. He is speaking to his children through His love coming out through us. He is in our songs, skits, and smiles. I am so grateful for the chance to be exhausted from a week of hard work for the kingdom. I am thankful for God stretching me way beyond comfort zones. I used to get so nervous when speaking in front of people. Now I sing and dance crazy in front of hundreds! He is faithful. He is trustworthy. And He is worth the risk.
How is God speaking to you this month?
