Hi there, my name is Sarah and I am going on The World Race in October! I am so excited to get started on this journey! Through this blog I hope to give you the chance to get to know me a little bit better, get to know my heart for God, and experience some of the incredible things I encounter while I’m gone. My goal is to post at least twice a month before I leave and as often as I can get WiFi while I’m abroad. (I am definitely going to need grace in that though.) I want you, as my friends and supporters, to know how important you are to this mission trip and to be a part of every step along the way. I literally couldn’t do this without you!
A couple facts about me:
I was born in Denver, Colorado, but I lived in a few different places growing up. I am currently based in Charlotte, North Carolina. Here in Charlotte I am a Student Ministry Intern as well as a nanny for three adorable boys. I also have a cat named Tarzan who lives up to his wild name. Most of the rest of my family is living in Austin, Texas until I can convince them to move here.
I became a Christian during my Sophomore year of high school. Since that day I have come to realize that, not only did God save my life, but I want God to BE my life. Slowly I have become confident in the fact that I am being called into ministry. But before I settle into a full time job in the church, I thought I would take advantage of my youth and TRAVEL THE WORLD!
