I recently returned from a trip to India, and saw firsthand the desperate need for God’s hand of healing in this broken world. While the experience left me humbled and heartbroken, I am even more confident in my call to international humanitarian outreach. I am especially passionate about being a voice and advocate for children who are victims of and who have been exploited by the sex-trafficking industry. But more than anything, I feel deeply compelled to be used as an instrument of peace around the world.
This route holds my heart, the primary reason being that every one of these countries has a high percentage of women and children trapped in sexual slavery. In India, I saw with my own eyes the bars on the brothels in the Red-Light District of Bombay–and the women trapped behind them. I am committed to being a part of the movement that puts an end to such flagrant injustice.
