Back in Trujillo, our squad leader Tiffany had us stand on chairs one night in the middle of our entire squad and proclaim truth over ourselves. I flipped out for a few seconds when she told us what we would be doing, but then I decided to get over it and be courageous. So I yelled out truths over myself when it was my turn. I loved it. It was refreshing. It was what I needed. And now, I haven't been able to stop. Are you ready to hear truths I've heard Jesus revealing to me this past month and a half?
– I have gifts that are unique to me
– I am NOT an orphan. You are my Father and you have set apart an inheritance for me
– I have the power of the Holy Spirit in me and I WILL NOT be silent
– My heart matters, not my appearance
– I am not defined by others expectations or conceptions of me. My identity lies in you- solely YOU
– Your love is enough to satisfy my longing
– You do hear me when I call out to you
– I am a Daughter of the Most High
-I have been chosen by God
– I am more than I make myself out to be
– I am approved
– I am worthy of His affection
– I am a worshiper
– You have my family in your hands
– You will make yourself known to Jonathan
– My thoughts and opinions are important
– I am beautiful
– Christ sees every act of service big or small
– I have incredible worth in Christ. There is nothing I could ever do to earn more of His love because He freely gives it all to me.
