I know….I seem to be incapable of updating my blog frequently as of late. I am so sorry! BUUUUTTT…… I have amazing news! Are you ready for it?
I am just under reaching the halfway point of being fully funded! Holy Cow! I blew past both of my first deadlines. If you haven't checked lately, my funding is up to $7,410.92 That is amazing!!!! I cried when I saw that number show up on my fundraising page.
Here is some other great news. Because of that crazy ridiculous amount in my account, I was actually able to use the $1,000 I got from my garage sale to buy the gear and the insuranceI desperately needed. With training camp only being 6 weeks away, that was a huge blessing.
With that in mind, I have to give a big shout out to all of you who have supported me in various ways. Your love, good wishes, and support -both prayerfully and financially- have been such an encouragement to me. Thank you for believing in me. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU. I could not have gotten this far without you!! You truly are all an answer to prayer.
God has been working on me so far throughout this process about not worrying about the financial aspect of this trip and he opened my eyes in quite a big way through you. I cannot thank you enough for your help! Please also pray for my squadmates as they continue to do fundraisers and make the October 1 deadline.
