Hey Ya'll
So one of the first fundraisers I am doing to raise support and awareness for my race is selling t-shirts. For those of you who know me, a t-shirt and a pair of jeans is always my go-to outfit. You can never go wrong with that duo!
Each t-shirt will be $20, which I know sounds slightly steep (especially to us college kids) BUT think of it this way: You are not only helping me inch closer and closer to that $15,500 I have to raise, you also get a pretty awesome t-shirt out of it as well! No better deal out there!
The company I used to make the shirts will charge me between $6- $9 per shirt which means i get to keep over half the amount. The more shirts I sell, the more money I will get to keep as well. The shirts are pretty awesome (see below)! They come in Adult S-XXL and Kids L and XL.
If you would like to buy a shirt from me, please click on the "Ask Me Anything: link on the left of my blog and give me the following information:
1. number and sizes of shirts you wish to purchase
2. address if you do not live local to me so I can ship them to you when they arrive
I will then give you my address so that you can send me a check (or cash) for the order!
T-shirt ideas:
*Buy 1 for you and gift someone you love with 1 as well!
*Pledge T-shirts for your whole family and then set out a jar for your kids and spouse to toss change into to pay yourself back . . . or donate that too, of course 😉
*Decide as a youth group, dorm, or class etc. to all buy and wear your shirts the same day as one more way of spreading the word about my race and God's mission!
My ultimate desire for this t-shirt is for my friends, family, and even strangers to buy them and be reminded of Jesus and this mission. When people see your shirt, they will ask what it is all about . . . I hope you will share with them everything you know about what I'm doing around the world! God might be calling them to "Go" or to give! Wear the shirt, spread the word!
