A Little Bit about Me:

I am 22 years old

I'm from Colorado Springs, Colorado

I have two brothers Jonathan (21) and Nathan (10).

I love my family very, very much

(The family at my college graduation)

I graduated from the University of Northern Colorado this past December with a degree in Elementary Education

I love waking up early in the morning (now days) to spend the first hour or so with just Jesus

I LOVE baseball—> just ask anyone who knows me. I live, eat, sleep, and breathe baseball. My favorite teams are the Rockies and the Rangers

(at a Rockies game with my mom and Nathan)

Things that are old capture my heart

Some of my closest relationships include family members

My favorite color is yellow

I am trying my best to learn to play the guitar on the race

(And I might be doing a terrible job so far)

I love love love fall

My favorite movies include epic trilogies like Lord of the Rings as well as a little more girly ones like Anne of Green Gables

History excites me

George Washington is my role model

My favorite thing to do on a cold day is sit by the fire with a good book and a cup of hot tea

It makes me happy that on most mornings, I get to see the sun rise

I have an adventurous spirit. Most off days on the race, you can find me wandering around finding something new to do

(Canyoning in Ecuador)

I love exploring

Camping is my kind of fun. I love the smell of the fire. I love getting to spend time out in nature. It's perfect.

I know God is calling me to orphan ministry…I just don't know what it will look like!

Africa is constantly on my heart (good thing I only have a month until I get there)

I'm a book worm

My favorite kind of tea is Chai with a little milk and some honey

I love the feeling of sunshine on my skin and the breeze in my face

I love my team!

I love…

antique stores

daphodils

photography

working in a church nursery

worship music

country music

lets just say music

and family dinners

My favorite piece of clothing (that I own at the moment) is my flannel. Life saver on the WR

(Meg, Me, and Mel rocking the flannel on WR day #1)

But most of all, I love Jesus.

How he understands my heart
How he doesn't allow me to remain the same
How he speaks to me in a quiet voice
His artistic side: the uniqueness of every sunset, towering mountains and rolling hills
I love that he fights for those who are helpless
that his heart loves orphans
how he holds me when I cry and celebrates my victories
I love how he is so patient
How he never gives up on me
How he cheers for me, defends me, teaches me
I love that he has changed me
I love that he is CONTINUING to change me
