Here is my dream:

I want to own a coffee shop.
Ok, before you go and write me off as just another bum missionary who says they want to own a coffee shop but never actually does it, well, clearly you don’t me. If for nothing else, just because everyone said I won’t do it, now I have to, because I’m stubborn, but also because I have this awesome vision.

So I want to own this coffee shop but I also want it to be a hostel BUT more importantly, I want it to be a church.
A church disguised as a coffee shop/hostel.

Coffee shop plan:
-I want to partner with local ministries and have it be a place where they can come and meet and do their thing.
-I want it to be a place where ministry through developing relationships with regulars becomes common practice.
-I want to have open mic nights/worship sessions regularly. (I.love.live.music.)
-I would love it if there was actually a church service there on Sunday mornings.

Hostel plan:
-I want to host mission teams.
-I want it to be open to travelers and do the same relationship developing thing as the coffee shop.
-I want to employ locals and let that in itself be a ministry as well.

Personal plan:
-I also want a dog and a ukelele and a rooftop garden.

And I want to do it in Costa Rica on the beach.

So there you go, all of you who are asking my future plans, there they are. I’m not really sure what I’m doing but God has put multiple people in my life over the last few months to both give me advice, light the fire under my butt, and to jump on board this Costa Rican Coffee Shop Ministry train and do it with me.

But, if you have any ideas, advice, or if (in the near future) you would like to help support this ministry, let me know.
