Sometimes I believe in life God slows us down. For whatever reason we are running…even if we love that we are running, he stops us dead in our tracks, causes us to examine ourself and has us pause at this thing we call life, Our life. We are so busy setting up the things in life we want for ourselves that we don't stop to think about if what we are so involved in is what God desires for our lives. If we would stop to listen we may just find ourself at a peaceful place of regrouping and a place of serenity. It may not be what we thought it was going to be, but it may just be the one thing we needed at the time. I would not be where I am today, if I had not stopped to listen to the plan Jesus had for my life, but what a blessing, that now right where I remain, I have the most peace that I have ever experienced in my entire life. At one time however, I had no idea it was ever this attainable.
I am always amazed how one persons actions can change the meaning of things you felt at one point Of time or another. If we could just reach one person on a daily basis and give them a reason to smile, to move forward, to have courage, it would cause a massive domino of love and peace around us. We really are here to help and love others. God also wants us to acknowledge Him on a daily basis, and thank Him for the gifts he has bestowed upon us. Because honestly, without Him, we are nothing, and have nothing….even our talents. 🙂
Blessings,

" Happy moments, praise God. Difficult moments, seek God. Quiet moments, worship God. Painful moments, trust God. Every moment, thank God. "
“You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven. Matthew 5:14-17
"Therefore let us leave the elementary doctrine of Christ and go on to maturity, not laying again a foundation of repentance from dead works and of faith toward God, and of instruction about washings, the laying on of hands, the resurrection of the dead, and eternal judgment. And this we will do if God permits. For it is impossible, in the case of those who have once been enlightened, who have tasted the heavenly gift, and have shared in the Holy Spirit, and have tasted the goodness of the word of God and the powers of the age to come"
