I’ve been spending a lot of time with a 3 year old lately, and the word that most commonly comes out of his mouth is “Why?”. He wants to know the reason behind everything. I’ve learned a lot from my little friend and his inquisitive nature, and I’ve realized that sometimes I get so caught up in what I’m doing that I forget to stop and remember why I’m doing it.

So I wanted to take time to stop and remember why I want to go on the World Race…

God has given me a heart for the gospel and a heart to share the gospel with the nations. Our God is a God of all people, and I cannot wait to see people from different nations and tongues worshipping our creator!

"May the peoples praise you, God; may all the peoples praise you.
May the nations be glad and sing for joy."
Psalm 67:3-4a

I want to abandon the comfort that I too often seek and allow the Lord to prune me so that I may bear more fruit and bring glory to His name

I want to laugh and play with children all over the world and show them the love of Christ. I may not be able to provide the children I meet with food and a safe place to live, but I can share with them the greatest and most important gift, Jesus!

I am the Lord’s ambassador, and He has blessed me so I may bless others. “God blesses his people for the sake of the nations.” –John Piper

God has blessed me with this incredible opportunity to be His hands and feet. I pray that the Lord would give me eyes to see people how He sees them and a heart to love as He loves.
