Hello!
Ok, so about me… I am from a small town in Virginia- good ol' Gloucester. I grew up on the water and love everything about being at the beach and near the water.

I currently live in the mountains of Virginia and it's pretty cool too.
I have an awesome and supportive family and I love them all so much. My mom is a music teacher and my dad works with boats. My brother is fun. We do goofy things like pick out special Christmas sweaters… He is about a year younger than me and we have always been good friends, ever since we were little kids. 
(He's younger than me, I swear!)
I have amazing friends, some old and some new. I am very blessed by the people in my life.
I have a degree in Music Education and music is definitely a really important part of my life. I studied voice in college at Shenandoah University and I attempt to play many other instruments- most not very well. I am getting pretty good at the ukulele!
I currently work in Admissions at Shenandoah and it has been a great job for me for the past few years. I have met so many different people and seen many parts of the country that I may not have had the opportunity to see. It has challenged me to become more independent, rid myself of many fears, and get up and go! If you had asked me 3 years ago if I would ever drive in NYC, I would have said absolutely never, but look at me now!
God is great. I am so thankful for all of the amazing things that have happened in my life so far and all of the amazing things yet to come!
I have a huge heart for travel and people. I know that the World Race is the next adventure for me because it combines all of the things I love most. I am so excited for all of people we will meet, places we will see, and ways our faith will grow.
Some more fun facts:
– I will turn 25 in June.
– Summer is my favorite season.
– I don't drink soda- unless I absolutely NEED to stay awake.
– I LOVE Chipotle.
– I don't really mind bugs unless they are moths or huge and trying too attack me. (That might be dramatic…but I definitely don't like moths…)
– Hugs are great.
– I love kids. 🙂
– I would prefer to be outside working even if it's super hot.
– I love traveling to new places!
– I don't like coffee…
– I think grapes are my favorite fruit.
– Pink is my favorite color.
– I think otters are my favorite animal? I don't know… That's tough.
– I like my hair short, but I am growing it out.
– I love swimming and boating.
– If I have to drive long distances, I usually listen to NPR.
– I love to sing.
– I'm really facinated by old buildings.
– I love meeting new people.
– I am a member of Sigma Alpha Iota, International Women's Music Fraternity.
– Sometimes I get really excited about silly things.
– I am pretty good at fixing things… as I learned this week.
– I love learning new things!
– I smile a lot.
