I like ice cream in the winter and hot chocolate in the summer.
Love mulling over the possibility of complex simplicity, and consistent inconsistency. Was born and raised in Southern California but home is where the heart is and mine is with orphans, orphans everywhere and anywhere.
I find the best things when I’m lost which really just means I find A LOT of wonderful things.
Love long drives with no destination, silly conversations with profound implications and deep ones in which the answers that turn up actually make no difference in life.

I have amazing family members and friends who probably wish I wasn’t as crazy as I am but who love me anyway.
I dream of unveiling and conquering the unknown and of being that vessel that connects more people to God.

I was crafted in such a way that I breathe easier and feel most satisfied in life when captives are set free, both physically and metaphysically.
I find it impossible to bring Jesus to the third world without also bringing justice and provision to the third world.
Sin has its hold on our world in so many places but Jesus already has the victory, we just need more people to go out and help others share in His victory.
Nothing exists outside of Christ, therefore every move, step, thought, and action in life ought to be thoughtful and under the guidance of the Holy Spirit and sometimes that means letting loose and shaking it down on the dance floor.
I consider myself to be an ambassador of Christ while standing in line at the grocery store, while on the job, while stuck in traffic, when I am with my family, and when I think nobody may be watching; every step I make is in Him and through Him.

From age 13 to 18 I was an orphan/ward of the court of the State of California.
After battling mental illness for 10 years, age the age of 46, my mom was called home to heaven.
Nevertheless, in the depths of her mental anguish she still was the most beautiful woman I have ever met.
My desire is to be half the woman of God that she was by never ceasing to come to God in prayer with every need, by treating every person and every form of life with the dignity and respect it warrants, and by, always, in some form or another, living that I might bring glory to my God.
Upon returning home, as long as I reside in the States, I will be a foster parent, however, my heart wishes to bring my future family with me as I minister full time to orphans overseas.
