Team Veracity was paired up with Team Favoured this month so there were 13 of us living together in Chincha Alta, Peru. (Yes, "Peru Round 2" we call it… with an awesome team, we worked together wonderfully!) As far as updates go, I would love to tell you at the beginning of the month what we will be doing in each place before we actually get there. Unfortunately, we don't really know what we'll be doing until we get there, sometimes long after. Sure, we receive an e-mail that tells us what our assignments are but so far, none of them have been very accurate. For example, we were told that for the month of March, my team would be "church planting". What we really did was this:
Building and painting the houses of community members
Playing with kids in the community
Delivering messages and leading worship during our tri-weekly church services
