It has taken me a long time just to figure out what to write about me. Starting something is always the hard part for me but here it goes. Here's a list of a few things about me that that are interesting, weird or funny.
1. I've gotten to know my Creator in an entirely new way through snowboarding.
2. My sister Lisa is the best friend I've ever had.
3. I bite and pick at my nails ALL. THE. TIME. Nerves? Boredom? I'm still not sure
4. I take a very objective approach to the world and am still analyzing exactly what that means.
5. A huge pet peeve of mine: Slippery hands.
6. I've been told I have an old soul.
7. I make daily lists and am meticulous with work and school but don't like showers and my room is a disaster.
8. I'll find one pen I like and use it for everything until the ink runs out.
9. I was in a hand bell choir once. SO. FUN.
10. As a kid, I played sports. Basketball, volleyball, soccer, gymnastics, cross-country, and occasional kick-the-can.
11. I love westcoast swing dancing. I now compete, attend conventions all over the country, teach occasionally, and have a family of dancers all over the world.
12. I can't decorate. Well… not can't, I just don't. The "nesting" gene must have skipped me. (For example, I lived in my room I'm in now for about 2 years before my mom finally made me put something up on the walls)
13. I remember tons of dreams and try to document them all. I remembered up to 6 dreams in one night. I believe that God has a lot to say in dreams.
14. I'm rarely impulsive. I often have to think for weeks before I purchase a t shirt. By the time I'm ready, what I wanted to buy is usually gone.
15. I have a baby nephew named Peter and he is awesome.
There's a little bit to get to know me. When I figure out how to post pictures and to blog more successfully, there will be lots of cool stuff on here!
