Month 8! My team is privileged (and I mean privileged!) this month to work alongside our brothers and sisters in Dragensti-Olt, Romania. Our contact here is Pastor Raul and the faithful members of Hope Church.

The area we are serving in is considered by regional missionaries to be the “graveyard” of Romania. The population and people groups living in the southern region of this country are considered unreached, with some never once hearing the name Jesus.

Raul and his wife came to this area in 2003 with three main goals; to plant a church, start a mission base, and disciple the community. Over 10 years later, our team along with 3 other teams from U squad, have arrived to partner with Hope Church and their projects to fulfill the physical and spiritual needs of this area.

While other teams are assisting different missionary families in accomplishing this large vision, my team and I are working directly for Raul as his administrative assistants and after school care volunteers. I LOVE my job in the office because I am able to fully utilize my spiritual gift of administration.

Working for Raul has been an honor and I have already learned so much from him through his immediate trust and grace. He fully cultivates the partnership between the WR and Hope Church by pouring into us and utilizing our strengths to see their goals fulfilled. One of the statements I often hear him saying to other people is “how can I help you today?”

I am looking forward to my last two weeks in the office and all that God is going to teach me this month. As you read this update about my team and I’s ministry, please pray for the following.

-The people of Dragonesti to see and believe the hope that is found in a personal relationship with God

-The four WR teams serving in this location and the work we are doing to benefit our contacts in seeing both their physical and spiritual needs met

-More labors and financial support to see Hope Church’s projects fulfilled

-My fellow racers that have parents coming at the end of this month; that their hearts and the hearts of their parents would be open to the will of God during their visit
