One of the first sessions, our guest speaker Ron Walborn talked about Matt 5:8 “blessed are the pure (undivided, unencumbered) in heart, for they will see (perceive) God.” This is the story of God wrecking the box I had attempted to place Him in and the peephole from which I was seeing Him.
I learned very quickly “GOD IS NOT AS CONCERNED WITH MY COMFORT LEVEL AS HE IS MY CHARACTER” God quickly revealed lies I’ve been believing and this religiousity I’ve been following and opened my eyes to His love and to see His face and to see the things He can do! There was one night during a worship time I kept hearing Him say “You’re beautiful, I love you, You are my daughter, You are my bride” Truths that are in the bible but believing them to be about ME has been a different story. It wasn’t until I spoke it out loud “I am Your daughter, I am Your daughter, I AM YOUR DAUGHTER!!! YOU LOVE ME AS I AM!!!!” that I finally believed it! And what an amazing beautiful moment.
Oh and it didn’t stop there!! LOL!! God began working miracles in our squads, real miracles!!! I thought they only happened on TV with those crazy tele-evangelists!! It started with people’s back’s being healed, psoriasis healed, Celiac healed, amazing things happening. Wednesday night, God took over one of our sessions and just poured out His love and Holy Spirit on our squads. We began praying for a young man who had been mostly deaf since childhood and we prayed for over an hour. See his reaction below:

God, thank you for not fitting into the box I built for you. I like You better outside of the box continually making me uncomfortable to make me more like you. David was right in the Psalm “For one day in Your courts is better than 1,000 elsewhere” Being surrendered to you Father is worth more than anything worth anything in this world. Thank you for opening my eyes to that!
If this was just one week at training camp, imagine what God is going to do this next year! Thank you for your prayers and for partnering with me. I would not be the same without them.
Oh and we found out our teams that we will be starting out with!!! My team is an amazing group of all women. Yep, didn’t see the all girls team coming, lol! But God did and I am excited to see what the Lord is going to do through all of us!! We have an amazing leader and great teammates. Here are some prayer requests for all of us as we return home for 5 weeks prior to launching.
- Quite a few of my squadmates and teammates are still short financially (I am just a few hundred short of being fully funded so if you feel lead to support our team, please let me know and I can get you names of the girls who need financial support yet)
- we are all saying many good-byes and making many preparations to leave.
- Please pray for our team that God would continue working in our hearts to be united and selfless this next year (and forever 🙂 )

‘Blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God’. I pray that we would all realize what is blinding and shielding our vision of Him and the curtains would fall leaving us exposed to the fullness of His love and affection. We serve a God that is crazy about us J How amazing is that?!
Thank you for your prayers and support! I have been blessed with such an amazing family of Christ.
