Hello! I'm Sarah. I am planning to go on the World Race in July 2012 (route 3). Excited doesn't even touch how I'm feeling at the moment.

Here's my story: My love for traveling, adventure, and people began at a very young age. After going to school in Duluth, MN, I began working as an Occupational Therapist in Minneapolis for 3 years. Soon, I felt God's push to take my skills on the road and work as a traveler for a staffing agency. This has taken me to Oregon and Idaho, and likely soon, Colorado and Tennessee. I have been so blessed by this job. Not only have I been able to play outside in God's beautiful mountains, but I have met so many wonderful people both at work and outside of work. For quite a few years now, I have felt God opening my eyes and heart to working for Him overseas, but I have pushed it off for various reasons. This spring, through God's amazing 'divine appointments,' I ran into the World Race. After offering God my usual excuses of work and school loans, etc, I felt Him saying 'Why not? Do you trust me?' And with some prayer and change of heart, remembering again how big God truly is, I said 'yes, I will go.' As I reflect back, I have realized how all the experiences and opportunities I've had especially the last 5 years have really prepared me for this. Yay God!!

This blog is meant to account my adventures and travels as I prepare for the World Race and while I am overseas. Enjoy!
