My beliefs and faith have been shaped by the way I was raised, the people I am around, and the experiences I have had.  I was raised in a loving, hardworking family.  My childhood years established the basic and most important aspects of my faith.  As I attended different churches, church activities, and hung out with my Christian family, these beliefs took on more depth and meaning to my life.

My experiences overseas have especially taken my beliefs and faith to a new and more spiritual level.  My first mission trip was with Focus on the Family (BRIO) to Ecuador.  This trip became a pivotal point in my faith journey. Not only did I have the time of my life, meet amazing people, and reach out to those in need, I also become confident in the calling Christ has on my life.  After listening to a powerful message about giving WHATEVER to Christ, I not only recommited my life to following Christ, but I promised God that I would follow Him whenever, wherever, however, and whatever He leads me to.   Through these adventures, God has revealed more of himself to me as well as began to build a passion and desire to help those in need around the world, both physically and spiritually.  My relationships with nonbelievers or individuals who do not try to live their life as an example of Christ and the conversations that I have with them, continually enforce and strengthen my faith.

God has filled my life with so many blessings.  Blessings in how I was raised, blessings through the people I interact with and blessings in the opportunities and experiences I have had.  All of these blessings have helped to shape who I am today and how I believe.
