I have so much to write and just a few minutes of time so here are the main things you need to know.
First, after much prayer Casey has left Team Concrete for “Daughter’s of Zion” (and yes they will be changing their name) ha ha! We will miss him greatly and are all grieving this loss. All June teams have changed because without a male presence many people won’t be willing to hear about God and so each team will now have one guy and some of the girls have moved around to even out the numbers. Concrete was the largest team and now we’re the smallest (5). Pray for us to adjust.
Second, our team has been called back to Swaziland. We will be living in tents in Nsoko for the next month on a farm in the country. We will be working at care points (orphanages) loving and spending time with the children there. I’m also hoping to start a ministry for some of the “Go-gos” (grandmothers that are taking care of these children). And who knows what other ministries will pop up.
The other teams will be heading out to Mozambique and Botswana. Pray for us as we all head out tomorrow to our new “homes” for the month. It’s unlikely that I will be able to use the internet at all but if I do I’ll be sure and send a quick update. Thanks for all your continued prayers and encouragement!
