We are well in to camp at Refilwe.
The last few days have been both exciting and exhausting.
In the mornings we arrive at 8 to pray and prep for the day.
At 9 all the children (200+) have arrived and we have camp till about 3.
The children here are precious they have names like Lucky, Surprise, and Blessing.
All their names have meanings behind them.
Lucky got her name because when she was a little girl, she had a twin.
Her twin passed away and Lucky’s name was birthed.

Allison and I teach children that are between 4 and 6 years old.
  What energy they have!
Yesterday we had 16 of them and today we had 13.
We teach them a Bible story every day, there are skits, lots of singing, dancing and games.
What the children seem to want most though is just love in the form of touch.
Usually I have at least 2 children playing with my hair at all times or sitting in my lap.
By the end of the day we are exhausted but it is so worth it.
This afternoon after children’s camp I had the privilege of going to a squatter’s camp.
What is a squatter’s camp you ask?  Come back soon to find out…..

Blessings from South Africa!
