Hello Parents, teamate’s parents, friends, supporters, etc… We made it!   52 world racers (September and our friends from the June squad) are here in Pnom Penh, Cambodia.

Our travel day went a little something like this:

8am-board caravan of busses and trucks to the border, 5 hours later arrive at the Thailand-Cambodia border,  stand in line for customs to “Leave” Thailand,   hand our passports to a man who took care of our visas, buffet for lunch in a casino, wait in line to “enter” cambodia, get on busses to bus station, board bus to Pnom Penh…   8 hours later down a bumpy road with no bathroom breaks we arrived at our new home… and it felt great!

Team LESS will be staying in the YWAM (Youth with a mission) base in Pnom Penh.   We have some new sisters and a brother for the month because we are doing ministry with Team Concrete from the June squad.   We will be working with New Life church.    All I know so far is they are amazing and have a variety of opportunities to serve…  youth ministry, a weekly street kid program called Joy Club, visiting their church plants out in the provinces, medical excusions.   We’ll get started with them around Tuesday and will have more info then.

That’s all for now… blogs from Thailand coming sometime soon. Posts should be more frequent this month as internet is within walking distance… many less pieces need to fall into place to get to an internet cafe!
