During our debrief time in Swaziland, our team decided to break free from the group and travel on our own following God’s lead.
We prayed for a greater level of team unity, and for God to send us off on a crazy adventure.
If we had any doubts at the beginning of our trip, God has definitely proved them all wrong at this point.

First, he sent us back to Alabanza, where we had previously only planned to stay for an hour, because of van problems; we ended up staying for 4 days!
I like to say it was his first gift to us, as we were able to finally relax in peace and quiet, something we haven’t had in a LONG time on this trip!

Then off we went to Jeffrey’s Bay, where He continued to amaze us.
There we had the privilege of meeting Ann Marie, who came up with the vision of The World Race.
After talking to her, she informed us of a ministry (Beat the Drum) that was leaving to Zambia and Zimbabwe the first of July, and returning exactly when we would be needing to get back for our next debrief.
This is exactly what we had been waiting for, as we had felt God leading us to Zimbabwe earlier.

So with 9 days ahead for us to begin praying and making plans, we rented 2 cars, and began our adventure to Gordon’s Bay.
That morning before we left, I had prayed for God to give us more adventure, and for clear signs that we are going in the right direction with all of this.
As we drove on, on the opposite side of the car, on the opposite side of the road, suddenly the car in front of us slammed on its breaks, as there was some kind of animal in the road.
Suddenly, they were in sight, and to our amazement there were baboons all over the road.
We were all so amazed; we stopped in the middle of the road and watched.
Because I know that God has a great sense of humor, I knew that my sign was a bunch of monkeys, but that was enough for me.

We drove along the Garden Route; South Africa’s most beautiful drive, stopped at a few places along the way, and had a great journey.
We even stopped at Africa’s highest bridge, where we all immediately felt that there was no better way to bond as a team, than to jump off a bridge together.
So that’s what we did, we bungee jumped the worlds highest jump.

Last night we arrived at the Sipley’s home in Gordons Bay, where we will be staying to pray about our upcoming journey…
