As I sit here waiting for my flight to Peru, I am able to finally slow down a little and reflect back on my month in Nicaragua. But… although I love to write, once again, since leaving on this trip, I just cant come up with the words to explain it all. So for all the visual people like myself out there… here are a few pictures of the highlights of the month….
Trying to make the kids at the orphanage no bake cookies, that becasue of lacking crucial ingredients, became more like puppy chow.
Playing with the kids at Cicrin Orphanage! This particular night we made a bonfire on the beach and taught the kids games and how to make smores. But the mass amounts of sugar soon got out of hand!
Loving the people of the community and there simple yet extremely joyful way of life!
