As many of you already know, I love to write poetry. I’ve been poetically dry on the race, but after Mozambique I just couldn’t keep it in anymore. Mozambique stole my heart, and leaving it was one of the hardest things I’ve had to do on the race so far. I felt heartbroken as we flew away from Africa, and poetry started to leak out of all the cracks. At first I was devastated to leave, but as I wrote this poem, God took me to a place of accepting what had happened in Mozambique as a blessing.

So with no further ado, here is my poem titled:
