Four Square ministries recently acquired a building next to their church. They have been using it as a place to teach classes which help provide jobs for people by having a place to learn a trade and sell their work. Only problem Four Square had was finding the man power to fix the building up. That’s where we come in! We are here working mainly with 6:8 ministries who partners with Four Square. So far we have done A LOT of sanding and repainting beams on the roof, and more sanding inside the church in preparation for a new coat of paint. I have never worked so vigorously in my life but so far this work experience has been one of the most rewarding. It has been hard to push through a full work day of physical labor but love being challenged and knowing that my efforts are helping create a place for change.
