When we first met our contact here in Swaziland and his family, he said something that shocked all six of us.

This is the World Race team that will be serving with us for the month – they are almost halfway through their race!

WHOA. Crazy! Technically halfway through next month (in Romania) will be the halfway point, but that’s only about 5 weeks away…

So here we are, Team Sound in the middle of nowhere aka Nsoko, Swaziland bringing the Kingdom in month 5.

We’re spending part of the month living in the team house – think summer camp cabin with a kitchen. We’re all six in a room of bunk beds, cooking all our own meals (and eating off of Moe’s plates – Jesus loves me!) and hanging out with the kids that come to the facility for lunch every day. (We’ll move to a cottage up the hill for a few days while a conference is hosted at the team house and then we’ll move back in.)

It’s been said that I’m God’s favorite (don’t worry…you are, too 🙂 ) and I believe that this month! One of the hardest parts of the past two months in Southern Africa has been the lack of relational ministry. Praise the Lord that this month is FULL of it! We are helping at various neighborhood care points with feedings and discipling children and visiting families in the local community.

At our month 4 debrief last week we were challenged to spend time praying into the next 7 months and asking the Lord for a new vision, a new promise for this season.

VICTORY – AWAKENING – UNVEILED – EMPOWERED – Daughter – LOVED

Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all the earth!

Serve the Lord with gladness!

Come into his presence with singing!
