We have about one week left here in Aninuan, Puerto Galera, Mindoro. Here's what we've been up to:
– counting bracelets. thousands and thousands of beautiful bracelets!

– weathering a typhoon.

– playing with kids! love this part.

– eating Filippino foods. like balut.

– construction projects (hacking at the jungle, forming the floor for the nipa huts out of the dirt we hack down, moving dirt around, fighting off mosquitos and the most ridiculous fire ants ever…you know, the usual.)

– laundry in the river!

In our last week here on the island, our squad leaders Megan and Joshua will be visiting! I am SO excited to see them and hug them and catch some truth and wisdom off of them. In addition to continuing ministry, we'll also get to go on a sunrise hike with Kuya Al and go scuba diving!
PLEASE join me in fighting for my Z family. Prayer is powerful and effective and we BELIEVE that we are more than conquerors through Him who loves us. (Romans 8:37) Pray for healing, for comfort for those who are in the midst of mourning and battling for family back home, for more of the Spirit in our lives, and for JESUS to reign in us. May God's Kingdom be brought here, on earth as it is in Heaven!
Next month Z squad will be in a closed country. We will be going in "ninja style" (under cover) and won't have internet or any communication for the month to protect our contacts. We're asking that you do not post any comments about where we are on facebook or on our blogs for saftey. Please be praying for protection and for the Gospel and light of Jesus to spread in the darkness!
