Each Sunday we have gone to two different churches, morning and evening services. We have sat in on weekly prayer meetings for certain congregations, and have plans to attend more in our free time. This Wednesday we are joining a group bible study, Alpha, at a local church. Along with all of the corporate fellowship we also have the time in our schedule for a Team Reckless bible study every morning, in addition to our own quiet time. I’m not telling you all this to show off how many holy points we’ve racked up this month. That’s a bad joke. I’m rattling off our involvement with our Irish worship out of sheer gratitude to God that we are being POURED into this month!
Back in the States, pre-Race, I thought I was doing pretty good making it to church on Sunday and a once a week group study. Performed my two checks for the week, quiet time down, maybe some extra service here if I can….we are STARVING for this stuff now! We can’t get enough of it! And we are bellying up to the buffet counter for more.

My prayer is that when we are done feasting this month we would not simply rest our elbows on the table, unbuckle our spiritual belts and belch a compliment to the ‘Chef’, but that we would turn around next month, and during our season in Africa, and cook up a holy meal to serve the nations like the ones we’ve been blessed to feast on so far.
