We arrived safely in the Dominican Republic last night, and our finance team arrived today. It is hard to believe that in 12 hours, all 74 of us will be together again! We are in Santo Domingo, and surpise, it´s HOT!!! Nothing a south FLA girl can´t handle though…
It´s starting to sink in that I won´t see my family for a year, but I´m already learning creative ways to stay in touch. I love you guys very much, thank you for your prayers!
In a few days we will have our assignments and I will update you as often as I can. For the next 48 hours we likely will be aclimating our teams to the climate and awareness of our lives for the next year.
