I have a fundraiser coming up the end of next month, and I thought
of a super dorky icebreaker game to play with hopefully willing
supporters….Language Bingo…oh yea….(BTW, I really don’t know the
rules to bingo, and was planning on winging this, but if any of you are
bingo savants, please indulge me.)

SO – I was going to use 15 squares and have simple phrases like,
‘Hello’, ‘Goodbye’, ‘Thank you’, ‘Jesus’, etc. in the languages we will
be exposed to, filling the spaces. So someone may have ‘B – Hola!’ –
does this make sense and sound like it will work?

I wanted to share some of the sites I came across for your
mind-bending, language expanding pleasure:

Ectaco.co.uk                   (this one is pretty sweet, many
languages, translators, etc.)

www.cambodia.cc/learnkhmer/how-to-spell.asp
 www.english-khmer.com

kreyol.com

So, to all of my supporters:

Tesekkur ederim!, sagol!    Gracias!      Mesi!      Obrigado!      Va multumesc!

Thank you!!!! In Turkish, Spanish, Haitian Creolo, Portuguese, and Romanian.

Your prayers and support are paving the way for me to learn more of these languages, and minister to those in need.
