(i am breaking all the rules of blogging etiquette as prescribed by a certain mr. goins)

  1. after reading my past blogs, i apologize for the nerdy tone.  that’s what i get fer tryin’ ta keep them thar rules.  😛
  2. i just finished reading a walk with jane austen: a journey into adventure, love & faith and enjoyed it immensely.
    • lori smith, i doubt you’ll stumble upon this, but thank you.  reading each page was almost like looking into a mirror; your reflections on grace – namely the difficulty with which you strive to comprehend it – as well as the usual suspects (singleness/marriage, friendships, and everything in between) echo my own.
    • it’d be lovely to meet you especially ’cause you live in my neck of the woods.

and here’s an abridged to-do list:

  • i haven’t put away my clean but now rather wrinkly laundry (it’s been days),
  • there’s still a post in development that needs to be further, um, developed,
  • labels to be printed, information i need to organize into tables/spreadsheets and what not for work,
  • support letters, thank you cards, and updated prayer requests to send out,
  • today’s my mom’s birthday and i forgot to send her flowers like i had intended,
  • i need to schedule maintenance, oil change, and an inspection for my car,
  • fill out my passport application for it to be renewed,
  • apply for a forbearance on my student loans,
  • file my receipts and mail

but i’m not going to do any of those today.
instead, i’m going to drive for an hour to frederick, md and spend a few hours at anna prayer mountain to pray.

if this is lazy, then i am the chief of sloths.
