Today we all grabbed our dirty stinky clothes that have been
worn 50 million times over the 9 days and made our way to the river to learn to
wash our clothes. Pastor Al’s 23 yr old daughter JoJo came with us and gave a
lesson. J There
were 13 crazy white people plopped down in the water watching how to use
buckets and flowing water to sufficiently clean clothes. We sang and laughed got wet and learned
how to spank our clothes clean literally.
I once washed my clothes in a bathtub my walking around and
stomping on them but that didn’t work very well. Today I feel like I
successfully learned to wash my clothes pretty much anywhere. It was weird because you just trust the
washing machine that your clothes are clean when it stops. What do you do when
you’re the washing machine? How long do you scrub? How much soap do you use?
When are you underwear really clean?
All very good questions that don’t really have an answer! Well I just
hope and pray that it is all clean!
