Today I was at Hobby Lobby shopping for nothing in particular when I walked down the Easter isle & started to grab a few fun things for the little boys I nanny for. As I walked away I began thinking of the meaning of Easter. I began to think about Jesus & how the stone rolled away & He had risen from the grave.

The family I nanny for is not Christian, so I began to question whether or not giving the boys an Easter basket was something I should do. As I walked around the store looking at beautiful wall art that praises the name of Jesus it hit me; I was called to share Jesus with everyone I encounter.
I mean for goodness sakes I am going on a missions trip to SHARE THE LOVE OF GOD & SHARE THE STORIES OF JESUS!!!!! Yet here I am in Hobby Lobby questioning if I should buy a 2 year old & 5 year old an Easter basket….

God didn’t just call me among the nations to preach the gospel, He calls me every single day to share the gospel in my home town to people I work with, hangout with, & even strangers!

As I thought more on this I decide to grab & exchange a couple of thing I wanted to put in the baskets because you bet I am going to buy those little boys something for Easter! Even if the don’t know who Jesus is yet, it’s my job to plant a seed & watch God water it.

Over the 9 months I’ll be away God is going to call me to plant lots of seeds so He can water all of them & work in their lives even after we have long left the country. God loves every single one of us & He even loves the ones who don’t know him yet & the ones who are angered with Him.

Who would have thought God would have taught me such a lesson while I was just out shopping around today?
Anyways I am now really excited to give the boys their Easter basket & plant the seed & let them know Jesus loves them. After all it’s great practice for the big things God is going to do through me & my squad in all 5 countries we go to 🙂

Don’t be afraid to share Jesus with EVERYONE you meet!!!

Blessings
