Hello! Oh my goodness! INDIA! Deep breathe in. I love it here.

I was originally really nervous about coming back to this place. This place that I have romanticized through stories and pictures for the past two years, this place where I fell in love and have dreamt of coming back to. I was worried that my love of this country was purely experiential and that the reality of a revisit would ruin all of my day dreams of this country.

I was worrying in vain.

I am in love.

It only took a day of getting over my jet lag to realize that I would easily spend the rest of my life in this country.

We live on the ground floor of a five story building. I was walking to the top to stare off the balcony and take in the reality of where I live.

As I was walking up the stairs I took a deep breathe of the distinct smell of curry coming from the home of one of my neighbors. I think that’s when it really hit me. The fact that I love India.

We have an incredible ministry this month, probably my favorite. I’ll write a blog about that soon.

I love you guys.

But it is a definite possibility that Omaha may loose a citizen to India.
