AHH! I leave for the World Race in 3 MONTHS (and two days)!!!!
I can not believe it…I can not contain the excitement…and joy and nervousness and ahh!!! How incredible! How exciting! Thank you Jesus for putting such a BIG adventure in front of me!
I bought my pack and my sleeping bag today, my gramma bought my tent a couple weeks ago…it’s crazy…it’s becoming so real. My pack and my sleeping bag match…which I find absolutely hilarious, but…they were green…and well, what can I say.
I had a garage sale, where I was supposed to sell all my stuff…I raised about $500, but ended up with a ton of stuff left over…never realized how much I had. I also had my first fundraiser, which, due to two very generous contributors, raised about $1000! So that’s pretty incredible! Jesus!
I’m still waiting for a financial break through, but, there is only so much I can do…I have to just give it over to the Lord. And He knows exactly how He’s going to give me this money. And I love Him for keeping me in suspense.
Well, that was just a quick update. I am SOO excited. (extra vowel, for added excitement.)
