Forming words to describe the past week has proved to be more difficult than I ever imagined, so I figured I would let pictures speak for themselves.

This is a training camp blog for future racers..and yes, I would say training camp was a STRUGGLEBUS, but in the end it was exactly what I needed. The following is just a lil peek at what I experienced this past week.

The AIM staff will be loud, energetic, and totally pumped up for Jesus!

You will somehow get stuck in your clothes and need help to get out.

It might take you 10 minutes to get your tent up on the first day, but by the end you will be a pro.

Every squad will have a squadmate who likes to drop it like its hot at random times..

Boys hold hands..enough said.

You will find friends you love so much that you want to sleep on a bus with them

Random dance parties will break out everywhere.

Your squad will become your support system and you will feel at home with complete strangers.

You will be exhausted and will fall asleep at random times.

Team formations will stress you out and then God will remind you of His gracious love and perfect placement for your next 11 months.

when the week is over, you will not want to leave your new community.

and then sometimes there are only facial expressions to describe training camp.

Training Camp was a blast, but it was a struggle.  It taught me to release control of my body, emotions, and past. I learned to accept myself as a daughter of Christ and to remember that He is my daddy and nothing I do can change that.  I let go of the boundaries I once thought were necessary to follow Christ and allowed myself, for the first time, to feel vulnerable, hurt, and broken.  Through my weakness came His almighty power and I am now ready to share His love with the world.
