Hey all! I'm writing to you from the Philippines. We made it out of China just fine and went from cold wind and weather to a tropical sauna. However, my team is blessed this month in that we are at least up in the mountains where it is considerably cooler. This won't be a terribly long blog unfortunately. We've got very limited internet this month.
So for ministry, we are staying on the big island of Mindinao just outside of the city of Malaybalay. It's beautiful here. We're surrounded by jungle more or less. We're living on a campground that has a children's home. Along with working with the kids there, we're doing physical labor for the month, spending time helping out campus ministries at the local college, meeting families, playing lots of sports, and pretty much anything else you can imagine. It's pretty much a month for all of us to plug into something we're really passionate about or enjoy.
