Hello there! Welcome to my first post ever on my first blog ever!
I’m not typically the blogging type, so please bear with me as you read along. This should be interesting 
. Ill make this short and sweet (like me;) since it is my first post!
So to get things started I will briefly introduce myself; Hi I’m Sam Vannoy! Most of yall reading already know me through church or are friends with my awesome family. Many of yall are also probably thinking, “I wonder what Samantha is up to these days?”. Well, let me tell you!
Other than interning full time at Highland Lakes Camp in Spicewood, Texas, I have been growing abundantly in the Lord and seeking His wisdom. Additionally, I have been searching for ways to invest my time in Him, and to do what seemed to me the impossible; abroad missions. I have strongly felt called by Christ to go and step out of my comfort zone, go overseas and share The Good News.
“And he said to them, “Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation.” Mark 16:15.
Going to do mission work overseas felt impossible to me at first because I had no idea where to begin or how to do anything about that really. But when God calls, He provides a way. That’s when I heard of Adventures In Missions, aka The World Race.
The World Race is an opportunity for God to use me in ways like I had never imagined possible. It is an organization whos purpose is to share the love of Christ and introduce others to the glorious kingdom of God. Now God wiIling, if I can fundraise the needed amout (Ill go into more detail on $ in a bit) I will be traveling to 11 different countries in 11 months taking only the things I can carry on my back. Abandonment is a big part of the race for those who go, you leave behind everything, everyone you know and love, for a whole year. I dont know about you, but I would definitely leave everything and everyone if it meant I could follow Christ and go where He was leading me.
“In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.” James 2:17

I wanna take the time to thank you for reading this far into my very first blog, thank you if you’ve even made it this far, thank you thank you if youve helped me by donating towards my goal. I asked God to use me, and He is. I asked God to send me, and I believe He is. Who knows what Christ has planned for my future, but whatever it is, I pray that it is all for His glory, and all for the benefit of His kingdom.
