We’re going to be out of the country before you know it! The purpose of this blog is to let you know what’s happening. Don’t forget this is your trip, too!
When are you leaving?
I will be leaving home for Launch June 29th. We will be leaving the country for Nepal July 3rd. If you’d like to see me before you leave please contact me ASAP.
What is ‘Launch’?
Launch is the final training, orientation, and commissioning before we leave. Parents are invited to come and share in a part of the festivities. Launch, for us, will be taking place in Atlanta.
Which countries will you be visiting? What is the order?
Our list of countries is subject to change. Currently the order is: Nepal, India, Thailand, Cambodia, South Africa, Swaziland, Botswana, Romania, Moldova, Nicaragua and Guatemala.
How is your group divided up?
This July there are 4 Squads launching (D, E, F, and G). I am a part of G squad (affectionately dubbed ‘G unit’). Our squad is compromised of 43 people from across the US and Canada. The entire squad visits the same countries. The squad is divided up into teams. Each team is like a family (5-7 people). Upon arriving to a country, teams divide up and serve several ministry host partners. If you caught my last blog, you’ll be happy to know that ALL my squad mates will be launching. God provided an incredible of money amount in just a short amount of time. Thank you for being apart! AMEN.
This is G Squad!
Tell us about your team!
Gladly! I am blessed to be a member of team |undefined|. Here are my teammates! They are wonderful, quirky, adventurous, and diversely talented. It is going to be a joy to serve alongside them. Feel free to check out their blogs and show them some love!

Please explain your team name. Why |undefined|?
Guess what? There’s a story. At training camp we were given the task of coming up with a team name. Something prophetic, something ‘chosen among riches’, a name we wanted to step into. So we prayed, and listened. Sure enough at the end of one of the chapel services we had a name. It was a good name. However, in a weird turn of events another team presented the same name. Little did we know, Jesus had another name in store for us. Sure enough, our new name would find us. More prayer and listening. The last day of camp, promptly before leaving, Joe Stickle (The original Bro, AKA Jose) came up to me and shared a new team name. I thought it was great! I went and told the others. The only problem: I misheard Joe (hopefully a divine intervention). Somewhere in the process the name stuck, |Undefined| had found us.
Here is sample of what it means:
If you can remember back to graphing and algebra, a line whose slope is “undefined” is a completely vertical line. It’s a line running straight up and down without any deviations. This is what we want our relationship with Christ to look like.

We want to abandon the definitions placed on us by our culture. We want to step into the definition God has for us.
Furthermore, we find the dangerous truth that people are worshipping god’s of their own creation. They are worshipping a ‘Jesus’ which they boxed, defined, and ultimately is just an idol hanging on the wall. We want to serve a God who reveals Himself to us. We leave the defining to Him.
If you have any more questions. Please feel free to message me or comment below. Thanks! Be Blessed!
