I’ve heard “hindsight is 20/20” and experienced it a lot in my life. Something God has been putting on my heart lately is to intentionally recognize Him in the present moment and not only after the moment when He’s moving has passed. There have been quite a few times in the past four months that I can look back on and see that God was moving, and maybe I had an inkling that it was Him in the moment but got distracted or doubted His presence.
Something that God has been saying to me over and over again this week is “I’m here. I’m always with you. I don’t change or leave you.” These are truths I’ve grown up knowing but when God spoke this to me, it felt like He gave me a deeper understanding of the simple words and they have impacted me more in the past week than ever in my life. Realizing this truth has opened up many opportunities for me to recognize God and give Him more glory. God’s presence is a definite and unwavering part of my life. All you have to do is open up to Him and ask Him to show Himself to you and you will quickly realize how apparent He is in every moment of your life.
Stop waiting to see what God has done and ask Him to show you what He is doing right now.
