Me in a nutshell:

Hiiiiiii!

My name is Sabrina (Bri) and I am from Southern California. My family, naps, hot showers, coffee, and Chipotle make my heart happy. So yes, the World Race is going to be challenging. Ha! However I love being pushed past my comfort and being in situations where I have to solely lean on God for support. That should be easy on the World Race, (insert sarcastic, laughing crying, and smiling face emoji here)…but in all seriousness, who am I kidding…I’m faced with situations like that even right where I am.

I live a very comfortable life right now and I know God wants me to grow out of my comfort for His glory and to further His Kingdom. My life story so far is totally different than I expected, but Gods plans always prevail & I am overjoyed that I surrendered at writing my own story. This will be my second long term mission trip and I feel grateful to know what to pray for this time around since I have somewhat been through it before. I had major expectations for my last mission trip which at times led to disaster. So this time I am going in with an open mind & heart. I’m pretty stoked to be going on the World Race and to grow closer to God! Not too stoked about cold showers and foreign bugs again…just keepin’ it real. *Oh, and if you’re on my team, I apologize now for:

  1. Talking louder than normal
  2. Taking a million pictures
  3. Making frequent and sudden stops to smell flowers and look at the stars

That’s a big nutshell. I guess I forgot to mention that I talk a lot too. Now ya now.

Saved to serve,

Sabrina
