Hey everyone, I’m Sabrina! I’m 18 and currently living out of San Ramon, CA.
This past year I’ve been going to my local community college, taking GE classes and random electives in hopes of figuring out what I want to do for the rest of my life. These past couple months, God has really placed a passion in my heart for Missions. That being said, I feel that The World Race: Gap Year is exactly the place for me to fulfill that calling.
This last year has been a year full of growth and redemption. I’ve been intentional with building my character, dealing with past hurts/issues, and receiving grace. I really believe God has called me out of my comfort zone in order to be His hands and feet while out on the field, in order to show them this incredible love and grace that is ours freely.
You may be thinking, “What the heck is The World Race?” The answer is simple: It’s a 9 month long Missions trip, in my case, to 5 different countries. My route launches in September 2016 and consists of Nepal, Ethiopia, the Philippines, Costa Rica, and Nicaragua. Me and my team will be spending time in each location anywhere from 1 to 3 months, building churches and houses, providing food, working with human trafficking victims, preaching the Gospel in slums, and so much more. Most importantly, we will be sharing a message of hope and unconditional love.
Where God calls, He provides. With that in mind, I’m wholeheartedly trusting that He is going to provide for this trip, not only financially but physically, emotionally, and spiritually. In order to be fully funded, I need to raise $14,806. This includes all travel, lodging and meal expenses for the 9 months.

I know not everyone is in the financial position to help support me financially, but there are other ways to help.
