Today was simply amazing. God is amazing y’all and His Kingdom is coming. All over the world. Like right now.

As you may or may not know, this month are team is what the world race calls “Unsung Heroes.” We don’t have a ministry contact, home, or anything. Our job is to follow the Holy Spirit and find potential contacts and ministries that the world race can partner with in the future.

Yesterday we left Guatemala City not knowing where or what we would be doing over the next few days.

I posted something the other day on FB and through a friend of a friend of a friend got introduced to a guy named Logan.

I called Logan and he arranged for a private driver to pick us up and bring us out to a small town up in the mountains of Guatemala.

When we arrived we were greeted by Logan and a Pastor at a big local seminary here. They opened up the dorm rooms for us to stay here and said they knew pretty much every single person we would ever want to meet.

We all looked at each other and just shook our heads- amazed at the goodness of our God.

That afternoon we got to visit the school that Logan was running- Grace English School. We got to play games and hang out with all the kids there. Then we got to hear about all the different projects they are doing there – private English school, starting a dental clinic, building water wells, music classes, and much more.

Then today he took us to meet with local ministry directors, see the work they are doing, and then share with them about the World Race and ways we can partner together in the future.

We got to visit a few different ministries here in Chimaltenango and man, I was blown away by the work God is doing here.

Our first visit was to an all girls children’s home with the most beautiful and loving girls (most of which have been rescued from abusive homes). The next place we got to visit was a school who provides education to children who’s families work and live in the local landfill.

Both ministries and the people running them were so amazing. You could just feel the love and the presence of God at both of them. I can definitely see world race teams coming here in the future and I’m so excited for that.

Huge thank you to Logan Sierra? for taking us in and showing us the most amazing hospitality. Also introducing us to so many amazing ministries that the world race can partner with to further the kingdom work God is already doing here. Another huge thank you to Rachel Sanson? for introducing us. This connection surely was a divine introduction from God. No other way to describe it.

They have been so welcoming and have allowed us to stay here at the seminary for the next few days so they can introduce us to many more ministries and see all of what God is doing here.

It’s days like these that I have to pinch myself and just thank God that I get to do this.

Took this picture at the school we visited today. He is a Good Good Father.

Psalm 23

The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he refreshes my soul.
He guides me along the right paths for his name’s sake. Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
