We took a day last week to go on a safari. It was the second safari I’ve been on. The first being in Kenya when I went there with Spring Arbor in 2002.

the world is whizzing by…

Josh trying to get as close to it as he can…

Leah, Stephanie, Andrew and I went to Gary Black’s kids school one morning last week. We told them all about The World Race, some personal stories and a few things that we’ve learned since being out.

Stacy singing praises during one of our night sessions…

Seth addressing our two squads and the new June squad that arrived this past week.
Just FYI, team L.O. is heading out on Wednesday for Rustenburg, South Africa. While we were in Mozambique under the tree, there was a pastor’s conference at the local church. An American missionary named Charles was there and couldn’t understand the pastors speaking Portugeuse, so he came over to see what the other white people were up to. We all got to talking, and mentioned that we would be heading back to South Africa eventually, and he gave us the information of a missionary friend of his that we could potentially call up….
…So, I did the other day. We’re goin there and are going to just help them out with whatever. From the sounds of it, they have a pretty big operation there. They have a children’s shelter w/ orphans on their property, so we’ll be helping with that in addition to helping paint part of a Bible school and whatever else. He said there’s enough to keep us busy for 6 months. So that’s where we’re going!
Peace out…and STAY TUNED for pictures!!
