Almost as soon as I wrote my last post about how I’ve been feeling blah lately, I read something from one of the 2006 World Racers. I don’t even remember what it said now, but it got to me. It got me thinking, and triggered something inside of me. I went to bed soon after, and said my prayers next to my bed. I repeadetly prayed for God to “Fire Me Up!”

Not only has he indeed fired me up, but the very next morning, the guy I’ve been working for gave me a really cool job for the morning. He told me to go to one of the houses that he owns and rents out and take everything out of the garage that can burn . . . and burn it! So I did. As I stood there keeping an eye on it, I couldn’t help but think that this was no coincidence that I got to build a big fire that morning. It was cool.

Scrap wood, boxes, papers, dressers, drawers, chairs, bed posts, towels and a big palette. It was sweet!

I got paid to do this!

This is Jeff Fazekas, the friend I’ve been working for lately. He’s got this new ‘toy’ that uses somekind of plasma ray to intricately cut through sheet metal. In these two pictures he’s making a christmas ornament of a dog.

This is Jeff Fazekas. A guy I've played basketball with for a few years. I've been working for him sporatically doing maintenance stuff and whatever else.
