I just got back from almost 3 weeks in Alaska in which I:

1 – survived my place of employment burning to the ground
2 – fishing on a commercial salmon boat for 6 days
3 – driving around Anchorage/Palmer/Seward with my brother for 2 days; during which my beloved camera succumbed to apparent death as a result of a fluke accident involving water in a mine, and my glasses disappeared in a glacial stream after my brother accidentally knocked them off my head.

Here’s a few pictures to wrap it up.

The Quinnat Landing Hotel. King Salmon, AK
Burned to the ground in the early hours of
August 3, 2006.

What is now left of the Quinnat.

Aboard the ‘Robyn’ seiner vessel. Fishin’ for
salmon.

Yours truly.
