Picture blog from the amazing Reichard family Home:
In the beginning of the month I thought I was going to spend three weeks at an orphanage, but I soon found out that it was not at an orphanage, but it was a family…
Below are pictures that describe my time there that I cannot find the words to describe…
As we all know that normally my blogs are very wordy, long, and detailed. Well for this blog I want to let God speak through the pictures of the amazing children that I was blessed to live with and do life for three weeks. God blessed me to go be a part of a family that has adopted 28 Guatemalan children. I learned so much this past month about God’s kingdom and love through the hearts, love, and lives of these precious precious children!
“For you are honored and precious in my sight and I love you”
-Isaiah 43:4
“The Greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven:
At that time the disciples came to Jesus and asked, “Who, then, is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?”
He called a little child to him, and placed the child among them. And he said: “Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Therefore, whoever takes the lowly position of this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. And whoever welcomes one such child in my name welcomes me.”
– Matthew 18:1-5
I encourage you to listen to these two songs as you scroll down looking at the pictures of the children. As we look into the eyes and hearts of a child, I believe we see a glimpse of heaven in them and are reminded of the true hope and love that we have in our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ
