Have you ever been so enthralled and surrounded by the presence of the Living God that the only thing you could even think of doing is throwing your hands in the air and singing your praise to Him at the top of your lungs?! If you know what I’m talking about, then you understand a little bit of me. My truest and deepest passion explodes when I am worshipping the Lord of the Universe that chooses to have a relationship with me. Whether that worship comes through singing, playing guitar or playing drums, it doesn’t matter to me, and I’m fairly certain Christ loves all of it either way.
On Wednesday of this week, the teams that were here in Pretoria were able to attend Passion World Tour 2012 in Pretoria. This was one of the greatest experiences of my life. To be on the grass in a cricket stadium, less than 50 meters from the stage, front and center for this kind of worship, surrounded by tens of thousands of other believers, young and old that were all singing out at the top of their lungs, filling up the South African night sky was indescribable. If I could pick one word to even begin to explain this night, it was glorious. Glorious for multiple reasons; because Christ was glorified that night in our worship and our prayers for each other, and also because being in the presence of God defines the word glorious: having a striking beauty or splendor that evokes feelings of delighted admiration. I was in the presence of the Living God with thousands of my peers at the same time, how awesomely awesome is that?!?! Woooooo!!
