The race has been changing and growing me in a way I never thought it would. Growing deeper in my walk with the Lord over the past few months has rocked my world. Having my life turned upside down with being open to any kind of ministry in China, fatherhood in Thailand, and rest in the Spirit here in Cambodia.
The race has also started (hopefully) bring some healing into my life. The way I used to be is fading away, and things from my past that needed to be healed have been healed. Wrote a letter to my dad hoping for healing and reconciliation in our relationship. I have never stepped out of my comfort zone in all my life.
Feeling this alive has been blowing my mind and if following Jesus is like this all the time, sign this guy up. I’m beginning to get a sense of what the disciples felt after the received the Holy Spirit!
This is where amazing people like you come in. This month we are teaching english, leading Bible studies, life lessons (how to manage your money with high school students) planning party for the kids, and making crafts. In order for the Lord to keep doing his will in me and changing me I still need to raise about $2,500 by Dec. 1st. I want these kids (pictured above) to be apart of it this FUNdraiser! For every $300 that is donated, the kids will throw a pie (or two) in my face. If I reach the deadline by Thanksgiving all the kids will turn me into a cake. That consists of throwing eggs, flour, water, the basic things that go into making a cake. Will you be one of the people to keep me on the race and bringing the good news in these countries? Will you help bring a smile to these kids face as they pie me?
