Difficult
times have helped me to understand better than before, how infinitely
rich and beautiful life is in every way, and that so many things that
one goes worrying about are of no importance whatsoever…– Isak

“I
Don’t have time”…”I’ll get around to it later”…”I’m Just
too busy!”…”I wish I had the the time”…”I can’t fit that
in right now”…
These
are all excuses we use to avoid something that we don’t want to do,
or we “think” we won’t like to do…but why do we really say it?
Are
we really that busy?…What is eating up all of our time?…Do you
have the time?…Are you available?
Being
in the Jungle this month…for the first time in my life, I had more
free time than I knew what to do with. It was the best thing to ever
happen to me. Why? Well I couldn’t run away or hide under a “busy
schedule” or the illusion of one. I am beginning to live a life of
saying “Yes”! And what a blessing to start living this way. Every
time we say “YES” to what god is telling us or asking us…it
opens the door for an amazing adventure with him. And allows for a
dependency and vulnerability on him that is a beautiful picture of
his love for us.
It
takes trust in god though to be able to live a life of saying “yes”.
It isn’t always easy to say “Yes” especially when you are
listening and believing your flesh in the situation. But that is why
we must all stand on what Gods word says is true that our God is All
righteous, all mighty, all powerful, all sufficient, I can do all
things through christ who strengthens me.
So
to the lies that have held me back, and the curses that have been
spoken over me…I declare freedom in the powerful name of Jesus! And
I say YES…I say YES to the Lord…What an awesome God we serve!
My
prayer is that we all could begin to start living a life
today…right now of saying “Yes” and removing the “excuses”
from our conversation list! Because I am tired of missing out on the
amazing things God has for me…And I want you to experience
too…all the wonderful, amazing, and beautiful things god has for
you in your life too! We are Blessed to be a blessing!
